I can’t understand the constent critism for my stance on the inproper downloading of copyright materials. There are people that can’t afford to buy music, but wait if they can’t afford to buy Music how can they have a computer.

A guy came upto me and asked how can I get free movies on my PSP. On a PSP. I’m not asking you to fill 50 Cent’s pockets. Go try some independant artists. Most artist earn about 11cents per 99cent download. Who gets the rest. The people that work at these companies. We have seen many layoffs, and the price of CD’s have not decrease.

Who’s really losing in this situation. It’s you. Less investing in movies. Fewer Jobs. There haven’t been many arrests in Canada. This will change with our new Conservative government (I hope). And people in the US have been fined for the past few years. Would you rather spend $250 a year. Or spend $25 000 in fines. I only ask you to Uninstall these applications and the materials you have downloaded.

I also used LimeWire at one time. But once I learned of the casualities of my mistakes. I deleted the software. The concequences of our action build up. There may be a Million people using these programs. But when one person stops and convinces others to stop. We will see a difference. Why not send each person on your contact list an email telling them, what they can do to help. Refer them to this blog if you wish. Tell them about iTunes, Napster, PureTracks, etc.

There are other issues that are more important. But this is probably the easiest to take action on. We can make the world better.
